Wildacre Rotisserie Brand Identity

Wildacre Rotisserie is a new, fast-casual restaurant in Cos Cob, CT that opened its doors in June 2022. Founder, Ben Pote, wanted to bring California-style cooking to the east coast and with that, an effortlessly cool and earthy aesthetic with just enough polish for the Connecticut crowd. Translating that vibe into Wildacre’s primary logo meant a windswept, hand-drawn typeface paired with a modern, sturdy serif to keep it grounded. The olive green and marigold colors evoke the landscapes of Northern California and wild poppies found throughout the state.
